Meet the Bloggers

Phil Ellis is the owner of Dive Sports, Inc., a local scuba diving retail store located in Decatur, Alabama and www.divesports.com, a scuba equipment internet retail website that provides the best equipment from the major scuba companies, all with full factory warranty and guaranteed lowest prices.  He is currently the webmaster for the scuba internet retail site and also is responsible for back-end maintenance of this blog.  Phil works long hours to make both the brick and mortor store and the internet sales site as successful as possible.  On this blog, Phil will make comments on the new gadgets and gear available in the scuba industry, on issues that impact the scuba industry, and a variety of other subjects of interest to scuba divers.  Phil is has a variety of interests other than scuba diving, and he may make posts on subjects unrelated to diving.  He is also very opinionated.  Please don’t be offended if he strikes a strong position on a subject and refuses to move from that position.  He loves to debate, so let him have it in your comments to any of his commentary.  We hope you enjoy the material he provides here and we look forward to your comments on his blogs.

Brad Ellis is the training director and retail store manager for Dive Sports, Inc.  He is also taking on the responsibility for the development of the new DiveSports.com website to be launched early in 2008.  He is a professional dive instructor and manages all of the training and travel programs for our local customers.  In a few years, he will likely have total responsibility for all operations at Dive Sports.  He is a photography bug and is responsible for most of the original photography on our retail website.  Unlike his dad, Brad seldom has controversial views and you can expect his posts on this blog to be professional, non-emotional, and pretty much scuba related.  Don’t look for very many of Brad’s post to be on The Soap Box.  That just isn’t his style.
