Brad is Adding Products Like Crazy!
February 8, 2008 3:00 pm General CommentaryI thought I would let you all know that Brad has not let up one minute since we launched the new website. He spends his entire day taking photographs and adding products to the website. He must have added over 200 additional products since we launched 10 days ago. Most of it is accessory stuff like dive license tags and frames, o-ring kits, regulator mouthpieces, dive flags, first aid supplies, octopus holders, safety equipment, diving slates, and well…….the list is way too long. You will have to take a look and see for yourself.
I think when you take a look at our new website, you have to agree that Brad is done a very good job. It certainly is a long way from the cartoon-looking website we had before. We hope all of you like it as much as we do. And remember, ordering from the NEW Divesports.com is so easy! How can you resist?

Thanks Anthony. I am at home this morning looking at the things Brad added yesterday. It is pretty amazing. He does all of the original photography and we collaborate on the descriptions and the text. Brad’s eye for design is pretty good. I am happy with the result.

I called about an item last week that wasn’t on the site. One day later Brad had added it.

tony,
That addition last week was just for you! Just Kidding, I had a ton of products siting beside me that day to add, the one you were looking for just happened to be in the stack.
BTW, if anyone ever wants something that they can’t find on the site, GIVE US A CALL, we probably have it and just dont have it posted yet.
All I have been doing since we launched the site is adding new products. Eventually, I will have every item that we stock on the site, its just gonna take some time. Usually, if someone calls about something thats not up yet, I’ll make sure that it gets added very soon after the call.

The new web site is defintely a huge improvement and have been checking your site much more often for a source! Keep adding those products - the more selection you have the better!

Very nice website. I’ll start routinely checking here as I fill out my newbie scuba gear needs.
One thing that I find lacking in all scuba websites (and the LDSs I’ve checked) is TASTEFUL dive clothing. Everything seems to feature scantily-clad, impossibly proportioned young women or large sharks. They’re wonderful for the frat boy set, but what about the rest of us? The ones with jobs, responsibilities and the disposable income to spend on dive gear?
Thanks.

Fisheater,
I have noticed the same thing about the common dive apparrel. We are gonna expand our line considerably this year to include more items, but its a bit of a slow process. If you have seen any items that particularly interest you, send me an email with a link and let me know about the product. We’ll take a look and see if it might be something we would be interested in carrying.
Thanks for the great input on the threads.
